The bluebells room is a fun active room with a calm atmosphere. The children are encouraged to develop their social skills through independence sharing and turn taking.
We start our day with self-registration and circle time where we talk about the weather and days of the week. We learn about boundaries and routines and the children are encouraged to follow the golden rules through-out the day.
We sit in a group for stories and singing and enjoy various activities through-out the room.
We can freely paint, mark make and start to use scissors and gluing. We love to play in the home corner that is often vets, police station and fruit and vegetable shop.
We use Lego, train track dolls house, cars and garage and work bench.
And often have sand, water, shaving foam and play-dough out to develop our senses.
We sit in groups at snack time where we have milk and a selection of fruits, breads, crackers and rice cakes.
We all sit together at lunch time where we enjoy a home cooked lunch and desert.
