The Avenue Day Nursery took over the nursery in Mildenhall in April 2017, our nursery in Mildenhall, Marlborough, Wiltshire is situated in a local village just over 1 mile north-east of the market town of Marlborough itself. Within the village of Mildenhall the nursery children enjoy local walks to explore the church and local play park. The nursery building lends itself to an old fashioned wooden interior.
Mildenhall is a village and a parish in north-eastern Wiltshire, containing three communities – the village of Mildenhall, and the hamlets of Poulton and Stitchcombe. It lies one and a half miles north-east of Marlborough, and nine and a half miles west of Hungerford.
Our Mildenhall nursery finds itself using many different rooms to cater for many different age groups from children aged just 3 months in our buttercups room to children age 12 during our adventure club. The below ages are used as a guideline, as we know that children being in one room based purely on their age may not be the best way for them to progress further. When moving your child to the ‘next’ room we will be looking into many different factors, this will include the child his/herself, you as parents/carers, the child’s key person, room leaders and other staff who can help with the decision making
- Buttercups: children aged 3 months to 2 years
- Bluebells: children aged 2 years to 3 years
- Ferns: children aged 3 years to school leaving
- Adventure Club: children from reception class through until aged 13.
Our nursery is open 51 weeks of the year, Monday through to Friday 8:00m-6:00pm excluding bank holidays and the week between Christmas and new year.
Our very friendly staff work hard to create a safe, stimulating, friendly and welcoming environment daily for all our children, parents and carers.
